Their credit card information, shipping and billing addresses are already store in their Apply Pay, or Shopify Pay accounts so checking out with them becomes a breeze. In fact stores that use Shopify Pay have seen "completion times that are up to 40% faster, and a conversion rate that’s up to 18% higher for returning customers" according to this blog post.
How to use Shopify Pay?
By now I hope that you're convinced, that you should be using Shopify Pay for your transactions. You can find a detailed guide all about Shopify Pay right here, but if you just want to turn it on then I have outlined the steps below:
- Go to your store's url /admin
- Go to settings
- Select Payments
- In the payments provider select "Activate Shopify Payments"
5. To make sure everything is enabled, select "manage"
6. Ensure that the "accelerated checkouts" are selected
That's it, that's all it takes. By taking 2 minutes you have essentially guaranteed an uptick in conversions, and have earned customers that will trust buying from your store.
